Inspiration:
This piece is a statement. I've heard something about never writing on paintings, but sometimes we need it to reinforce the message. After a conversation I had with a friend about illustrations I decided to completely change the direction of this artwork. It felt really good to put this out there!

Faces do Tempo (Faces of Time) series
The first consolidation of over 15 years creating intuitive illustrations to document my experiences in Brazil. This series features 13 different faces, each inspired by real people who crossed my path. Together, they shape the eight paintings and the narratives of a specific time. This is painting number 08.
