Bio
Murilo Jorge (1990) is a Brazilian visual artist and designer based in Zaandam, the Netherlands.
Since 2023, he has been exploring a range of techniques and materials, using different colours and styles to create vibrant and authentic artworks inspired by his life and contemporary social topics.
Murilo has an educational background in Advertising, Graphic Design, and Sociology—three distinct fields that, along with 15+ years of experience as a designer, are shaping his unique approach to art.

Before becoming an independent professional, he built a solid career in the digital industry over the past 15 years. He first worked in Digital Advertising then transitioned to Experience Design, a field he has spent the last 10+ years collaborating with a wide range of companies and digital products in Brazil and the Netherlands.
Driven by endless curiosity and a passion for learning, he has built an unconventional educational background, which includes a degree in Advertising, a technical qualification in Visual Communication (Graphic Design), and a specialization in Sociology. These three distinct fields, along with his life story and professional experience as a designer, shape his unique approach to art.
Living in the Netherlands since 2020, Murilo is currently settled in Amstelveen.
